Gather your friends and step into Spring at Geraldo's Drinks Fest in the Brisbane House Hotel in Largs on Friday 27th April from 6-10pm.
This new event is a celebration of the wonderful premium spirits we have here in Scotland and beyond. Come to the seaside town of Largs to meet the people behind the distilleries and take the chance to sample and try over 50 artisan drinks. There will be something for everyone including tastings of gin, rum, whisky, liqueurs, cocktails and chocolates, as well as live music and masterclasses. A great night out with friends!
Ever wondered about trying whisky?
We are delighted that the Arran Whisky Distillery will be showcasing a range of their single malts and cask-finished malts and hosting a fascinating Whisky Masterclass at 6.30pm - so come early!
We'll be joined by the very knowledgeable Jim Irvine of Gordon & MacPhail who will be offering tastings of their award-winning Benromach Single Malts. The Speyside Glenrothes range of single malts will also be showcased by Andy Stewart from Berry Bros and Rudd.
If you've never tried whisky, this is your chance and for those of you who have, this is an exceptional range.
Wonder why everyone is now talking about rum these days?
Looking for the taste of the Caribbean, but made in Scotland? Sylvester from Island Slice is launching his brand new range of rum with ingredients all the way from St Lucia. Also joining us is Glasgow based Sugar House Rum which takes its name from the old sugar houses in 17th century Scotland. Founder, Ross is keen to tell you how they are bringing rum back to Glasgow.
Rums from further afield include BemBom from Brazil, Penny Blue Mauritian Rum and Matusalem from Dominican Republic. Our Rum Masterclass at 7.20pm at will be hosted by Andy from Berry Bros and Rudd, one of the ten oldest family-run businesses in the UK. Learn more about the potted history of rum with special focus on the Scottish connection and Medine Distillery.
Is gin still your thing?
If gin is your tipple, then we have a lovely selection for you to try. Adam and Ally from Arbikie Highland Estate, winners of the Scottish Gin Distillery of the Year 2017, will be bringing their range of gin and vodka. Chat to them at their stand or sign-up to their Masterclass at 8.10pm on arrival to find out more about their field to bottle philosophy.
The ever-popular Grant from Brockmans Gin will be giving you some fantastic new serving suggestions and Peter Menzies, founder of Dundee Gin, will introduce their Classic Dry Gin and Marmalade Gin Liqueur. Founder and Distiller of Crossbill Gin, Johnathan, can tell you all about their new Gin School in Glasgow and if you add in the fabulous range from Gin Bothy and some delicious mixers from Franklin and Sons along with Lone Wolf Small Batch Spirits, gin fans are bound to learn something new!

Nippy Nora is a fully qualified Parlour Maid, she will ensure that all guests are welcomed to Geraldo's Drink Fest and offered the very best of refreshment.
Nora specialises in unusual cocktails and will be happy to serve you some tastings of her delicious creations by teacup along with a tasty chocolate from Geraldo's. Her cocktails are unique and created with a range of seasonal fruits and flowers, served in the best bone china, with a generous amount of fun and a hint of mischief. Book your place early for Nippy Nora's Cocktails in Teacups Masterclass at 9pm. You may even decide to take her home for your own G & Tea party!

If it all gets a bit much and you just want to sit back and listen to some laid back tunes then we have the wonderful sounds of Ronnie Garrity on guitar and Olivia Fleming on vocals creating that chilled festival vibe. Take a seat, relax and kick start your weekend in style.
