We get great satisfaction when customers walk into Geraldo's tentatively asking if we stock something they really don't think we'll have or can buy locally, only to find that we've got just what they're looking for. Sweet Caroline and I love it!

The lead up to Christmas means working very long hours for us and our small team but we feel a huge amount of support from the many customers who travel to us from miles out of town and who buy from us online every year in support of what we do.

Largs town centre is looking especially nice this festive season and the shop is literally filled with all sorts of seasonal treats and goodies. Our chocolate cabinet is brimming with the finest range we've ever had with our Parisian Creams made for us by The Arran Chocolate Factory and the new 'Picasso' range from Frank Visser flying out the door. Mind you, they do look like spaceships don't you think?

This year's hot sellers in general have been our gin-filled truffles, Unicorn Christmas Gin and gin-filled Christmas Crackers, not to mention Spain's fastest selling pink gin, Puerto di Indias. We think this is going to be HUGE in 2019.

Whisky too from the Isle of Arran Distillery is always a favourite with their Arran Gold being the number 1 Cream Liqueur you just can't live without at this time of year. We've been a big supporter of Springbank Distillery for some years and now their limited editions are finding their way on to our shelves too and we're just over the moon to have that support reciprocated with our feature Masterclass in February next year. The phone has not stopped ringing about it.

Other BIG favourites are Niederegger Marzipan, Anthon Berg Liqueurs and Le Preziose fruit jellies. Goodness, we can't keep going in these.

For the first time this year, we've displayed a range of Christmas Gift Hampers in our end window. Having such a small shop, we're so limited with space and although we have customers who've faithfully ordered hampers from us every year, a lot of you have suddenly 'discovered' we do this too.
It seems this season's big question is: "Can you make me a gin hamper?" Well, of course we can make you a gin hamper!!!

Whilst we don't have them online this year, we will definitely be looking at this for early next year but if you're local, or are able to collect then this is a great gift to solve your Christmas gift dilemma.
