Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight is a time to celebrate everything that makes this industry special with the aim to showcase and enjoy the variety of amazing produce we have here in Scotland from 2nd-16th September.
The Scottish Food & Drink sector has so much to offer and we're delighted to feature some of the tasty Scottish products that we have in store including luxury chocolates, cheese, oatcakes, whisky and gin from the local Isle of Arran, to Edinburgh shortbread, Ayrshire tablet, whisky cakes and highland honey. As well as our own artisan ice cream of course. There's a treat from every corner of Scotland!
1. Parisian Creams
In Scotland, it is no secret that we have a bit of a sweet tooth. The Isle of Arran Chocolate Factory makes many of our luxury handmade chocolates including our best selling Parisian Creams.

2. Award-winning Scottish Tablet
This award-winning Scottish tablet simply melts in your mouth. Homemade in Ayrshire and available in gift bags or our traditional white ballotin boxes, we pack it carefully by hand in our shop and it makes the perfect wee sweet treat.
3. Arran Cheese & Oatcakes
It's hard to beat some tasty cheese & oatcakes and on the Isle of Arran they make the best! Deliciously creamy and very moreish, the flavoured cheddars are made by The Arran Cheese Company, whereas the oatcakes are produced by Brodick's famous bakery, Wooleys. Serve them with a dram of Arran whisky or an artisan Arran Gin and you can enjoy some of the very best produce from this Scottish island.
4. Whisky in a cake
Combine our sweet tooth with our national dram and you get Asher's Whisky Cakes! These moist, aromatic cakes are laced with fine single malt whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay. Since winning the Scottish Gift of the Year Award they have been firm favourites ever since. With a choice of 3 flavours there's a cake for all tastes.
5. The Scottish Bee Company
This delicious selection of honey and gift packs produced by The Scottish Bee Company has proved to be very popular since we introduced them last year. Founded by Iain and Suzie Millar in 2017, they felt strongly about the UK’s declining bee population and decided to do something to help.
Their passion and determination prompted them to adopt some bees, hire a team of expert bee farmers and brought them together in the heather covered hills of Scotland to produce uniquely flavourful honeys that evoke a sense of Scotland’s unspoiled wilderness.
6. Shortbread Without Shortcuts
We honestly think this is THE BEST shortbread you will ever taste from family-run, Shortbread House of Edinburgh.
The range of products is popular because their products are genuinely made by hand, so their taste, texture and appearance are quite superior from the mass produced brands. They use the very best quality ingredients and as they say it's "shortbread without shortcuts".
7. The Pea Green Boat Cheese Sablés
Created by The Pea Green Boat in Edinburgh, we believe there is no rival to these delicious and exceptionally cheesy morsels. Enjoy with wine and other drinks, for picnics or as a unique canapé base. They're irresistible!
8. Whisky Sauces
Made in the bonnie kingdom of Fife in a wee town called Cuparmuir, Lindsey Anderson and her family have created these Great Taste award-winning whisky sauces. With so many flavours to choose from there's a sauce for all dishes. These high quality sauces are made from 100% natural ingredients and the finest Scotch whisky.
9. Premium Scottish Drinks
Working closely with many Scottish drinks distilleries allows us to showcase a range of premium craft gin, whisky, rum, liqueurs and more. Join us at one of our free in-store tastings to try something new or take a look at our premium drinks selection online or in store.
10. Geraldo's Ice Cream
Last, but by no means least is our very own ice cream. Made freshly on our premises every day using Scottish milk and double cream from our local dairy in Largs. We also have vegan & gluten free optons. All available in store or to order for local delivery or collection at any time of year. As we say "It's never too cold for ice cream!"
