Kirkwall Single Malt Whisky

Kirkwall Bay is a small batch Orkney single malt with a very distinct style, produced by family-owned whisky merchants, Morrison & MacKay.

It has a wonderful character with gentle smoke and notes of cracked black pepper and sea salt. The term “small batch” is perhaps over-used nowadays in the drinks industry but with Kirkwall Bay this is genuinely the case. Morrison & MacKay only produce batches of Kirkwall Bay with 10 casks or less, which compared to other similar products is very small. This smaller batch size allows them to maintain the quality level of Kirkwall Bay.

Bottled at 46%, this single malt has a creamy sweetness which makes it an excellent whisky to try if you are new to our national drink and is a great wee dram to sip on a summer night.

Visit our shop in Largs any time from Wednesday 22nd - 29th May to enjoy a taste of this flavoursome malt.
