Old Perth Sherry Cask
This week (until Wednesday 22nd May) we will be offering free tastings of Old Perth Sherry Cask Whisky in our store in Largs.
Old Perth Sherry Cask is exquisitely blended from Glenfarclas and Glenrothes malts matured in 3 different sized barrels by family owned, Morrison & MacKay in Perthshire.
This deeply coloured and richly sweet blended malt will no doubt delight lovers of Sherry Cask.
Old Perth Scotch Whisky was originally created in the early 1900's in the city of Perth by the Thomson family, well known grocers in the city. By the late 1970 the brand sadly disappeared.
In 2013, Morrison & MacKay brought it back to life as a blended malt, celebrating Perth’s illustrious past in the whisky industry. The Old Perth brand is now the only whisky blended in Perthshire.
