Whether you are new to whisky or a seasoned connoisseur, the month of May (Whisky Month) is the time to discover, taste and celebrate Scotland’s national drink. There’s a dram out there to suit everyone!
You are all invited to try ‘the water of life’ throughout the month of May, but in particular on World Whisky Day on Saturday 16th May. This celebratory day has been recognised for 9 years now and although this year is somewhat different due to the Coronavirus, we can still raise a wee dram at home, over Zoom with our friends and take part in virtual celebrations across the globe. The sole aim of World Whisky Day is to make it fun, enjoyable and available to everyone.
Arran Whisky
It seems fitting that we showcase Arran Whisky this year, as 2020 marks their 25th anniversary. In February their lovely Global Brand Ambassador, Mariella Romano hosted a brilliant sell-out masterclass for us in Largs and treated our attendees to an incredible line up of Arran Whisky paired with Arran Cheese, Chocolate and Beer, which was hugely enjoyed by all.
We're delighted that Mariella has created this video especially for us, pairing Arran Whiskies with our best selling Parisian Creams which are also made on the Isle of Arran. We hope you enjoy it!

We may not be able to celebrate World Whisky Day or Arran Whisky's 25th anniversary with our usual tasting events just now but we appreciate that it is often the simple pleasures in life that can raise our spirits. So this year, we are joining the World Whisky Day founders in raising a dram to you all and to everyone who is facing challenges and making such a big difference in our world today.
