The Arran 18 year old is the one of the most popular expressions in their core range of single malts and one of the oldest available.

It is a wonderfully balanced expression which displays the tremendous depth of character of the Lochranza Distillery.

Caramelised citrus and tropical notes on a background of toasted oak have created an intense, well rounded dram with charm and personality. A luxurious mix of Arran's finest aged Sherry Casks, this fully mature expression of Arran Single Malt is exceptional.

Beautifully presented in their contemporary bottle and gift tube.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep amber

Nose: Orchard fruits with syrup and toasted oak

Palate: Caramelised orange, dark chocolate, baked peaches

Finish: Sweetness, Spice, Citrus, Baked peaches.


Isle of Arran Distillery

The Isle of Arran's first distillery was built in the foothills of the village of Lochranza in 1994 and the first spirit ran from the stills on 29th June 1995 bringing legal distillation back to Arran after more than 150 years. Since then, it has gone on to produce the world class Arran Single Malt Whisky which has won international acclaim.

Isle of Arran Distillers remains the only whisky producer on the island and they are the proud owners of two stunning Single Malt distilleries, Lochranza in the north and Lagg Distillery in the south which opened in June 2019 and is home to the heavily-peated Lagg Single Malt. These are certainly exciting times for this innovative island company.
