Kilkerran single malt is a staple of Campbeltown. This 8-year-old single malt has been matured in 100% Bourbon Casks and bottled at a cask strength of 55.6%.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A typically zesty introduction to this dram, there are notes of Key Lime Pie, apple jelly, honey and vanilla.

Palate: There is a creaminess on the palate, with notes of banoffee pie, vanilla custard and panna cotta.

Finish: Sea salt and brine notes emerge in the finish, along with a gorse note.

Glengyle Distillery

Kilkerran Single Malt is 100% made in Campbeltown, from barley to bottle at Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery. Re-opened in 2004 after originally operating from 1872-1925, Mitchell’s Glengyle is under the ownership of Mr Hedley Wright, chairman of Springbank Distillery and descendant of Glengyle’s founder William Mitchell.
